A Texas woman was arrested earlier this week after sending several text messages to the wrong number. According to TylerPaper.com, Debra Langham began texting a Smith County Sheriff’s office employee a few weeks ago about buying marijuana. Authorities played along with the texts, and on Tuesday they set up a meeting with the 51-year-old. Narcotics officers subsequently arrested Langham after finding half a pound of pot in her car. Following the arrest, lieutenant Tony Dana remarked, quote, “This all happened because apparently she put in the wrong number to text when this all began several weeks ago.” Debra Langham has been charged with felony possession of marijuana.
