A tweet from LeBron James made headlines today because of its implied threat against his numerous critics.

“Don’t think for one minute that I haven’t been keeping mental notes of everyone taking shots at me this summer. And I mean everyone,” he posted on his Twitter account.

The message appears to be in direct response to backlash from fans, media, his former owner and other NBA past greats over his decision to leave Cleveland for Miami — not to mention the glitzy way in which he left.

ESPN pulled the article from its website a short time later, claiming the article should have never been published because the writer, Arash Markazi, “did not properly identify himself as a reporter.”
