A Florida woman’s ten-month-old child has prevented her from ripping off a local department store. According to the “Palm Beach Post,” Crystal Whitaker left her child at a West Palm Beach JCPenney after stealing more than 250-dollars in clothes from the store. The 23-year-old and another woman reportedly entered a dressing room last Friday, and exited with several items hidden in a bag. A store employee tried to stop the women from leaving, but they were able escape outside. Unfortunately for Whitaker, authorities were able to track her down because she forgot both her child and her purse at the store. She has been charged with child abuse without great harm, child neglect without great harm, contributing to the delinquency of a dependent, and theft.
