(Atlanta, GA) — A Georgia woman is free this morning after texting a help message with her toes. Atlanta Police early this morning freed the woman, who had been tied to her bed during a home invasion. The “Atlanta Journal Constitution” reports that just before 5:30 this morning, the victim’s boyfriend called 9-1-1 to report that 39-year-old Amy Windom had been tied to her bed since midnight. Police Captain Van Hobbs says Windom’s laptop was on her bed and close enough so she could maneuver her toes to type a message. The ski-masked intruder, who remains at large, went through Windom’s belongings and stole her 2009 Acura.
