A bizarre shooting took place at a Reidsville, North Carolina home earlier this week. MyFox8.com is reporting that Lonnie Irvin Pinnix was arrested Tuesday for shooting his wife with a gun full of toilet paper. Darlene Pinnix reportedly returned home to find her husband in an agitated state. She proceeded to lie down on the bed, but Lonnie Pinnix pulled out a gun and told her to get up. Before she could obey his request, he allegedly shot her in the back. Darlene Pinnix suffered a powder burn from the gunshot and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Lonnie Pinnix eventually admitted to police that he shot his other half with toilet paper because he wanted her to leave. He has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and is due back in court on August 11.
