(Los Angeles, CA)  —  A man accused of stealing jewelry from former TV Catwoman, Julie Newmar, is pleading no contest to the crime.  Robert Ouriel was sentenced to three years probation and 45 days community service after entering his plea to one felony count of grand theft on Tuesday.  The 49-year-old is an acquaintance of Newmar’s.  Authorities say he stole several items of jewelry between October 25th 2008 and November 3rd 2008 and shipped them to a pawnbroker who posted them for sale on eBay.  Newmar notified police after recognizing some of the items on the website.  The actress, best known for her role as Catwoman in the original “Batman” TV series estimates her loss at 150-thousand-dollars.  A restitution hearing is scheduled for September 14th.
