(Undated) — “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe has learned something new — singer Justin Bieber is not a girl. The actor tells MTV.com, quote, “I only heard Justin Bieber, like, for the first time two weeks ago. I genuinely thought it was a woman singing. I’d never heard it before.” The British star says he’s missed out on “Bieber Fever” so far. For the most part, he says he’s so out of the loop on pop culture that he doesn’t even make an effort to catch up anymore. But while he hasn’t heard of the 16-year-old pop sensation, he has heard of one of music’s other chart-toppers, Lady Gaga. Radcliffe says, quote, “I think she’s kind of amazing. She’s really got a voice…Not my kind of music particularly, but she can really sing.”
Radcliffe has finished filming the final “Harry Potter” film, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” He has plans to act on Broadway in a revival of “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying,” and is pondering recording an album of music at some point.
