The name Six Flags is back in Houston.

Wet & Wild Splashtown will be rebranded Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown when the park opens for the 2019 Season. Featuring over 40 exciting slides and attractions, Houston’s largest waterpark is introducing an innovative, new six-story water slide—Wahoo Wave, along with new, Caribbean theming and improvements throughout the park.

“We are thrilled to welcome Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown into the Six Flags family of parks,” said Park President Jeffrey Siebert. “Six Flags is making a big investment in the park with the new Wahoo Wave and major updates for a bigger, better, wetter, island-like experience. Hurricane Harbor Splashtown already has the most water rides and slides in the region, and now all Members and Season Pass Holders will have free, unlimited visits to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags Over Texas and all Six Flags theme parks across the country. It’s an incredible value that only Six Flags can offer.”

This summer, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown will debut its newest attraction, Wahoo Wave. Standing six stories tall, this adrenaline-packed adventure sends four riders into near vertical motions to experience extended hang times and zero g-forces. Riders plunge 30 feet straight down before sweeping up at high speeds as they arc across the top of a massive water wall, virtually defying gravity before descending into a refreshing pool below.

The 48-acre park will also feature a bold, new marquee and new, Caribbean-inspired theming and custom signage throughout. Improvements also include re-imagined ride entrances, along with dining and retail locations. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown opens for the 2019 season on May 4.

Six Flags 2019 Memberships and Season Passes are currently on sale. Members can enjoy priority park entry, preferred parking and tremendous discounts of up to 50% on nearly all food and merchandise purchases all season long. Gold Plus, Platinum, Diamond and Diamond Elite levels are available featuring all the perks of a Season Pass plus other benefits including admission to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown and all Six Flags branded theme and waterparks (including Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio and Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington), skip the line passes, unlimited soft drinks and much more!
