Starring Marlon, Tito, Jermaine and Jackie, the series will follow the brothers as they head back to the studio to continue their musical legacy. “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty” will focus on the group’s attempt to record a new album and rehearse for a 40th anniversary concert. Filming on the series began last January, but the future of the show became uncertain when the fifth member of the Jackson Five, Michael Jackson, unexpectedly died in June. The family eventually decided that they wanted to continue with the project, with an added focus on the the brothers’ reactions to the loss of their superstar sibling. “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty” premieres on A&E Sunday, December 13th at 8 p.m. Central.
