(Undated) — British singing sensation Susan Boyle continues to dominate the music world. Billboard.com reports Boyle’s debut album, “I Dreamed A Dream,” is number one on the Billboard 200 chart for the second consecutive week after selling 527-thousand copies. The record sold 701-thousand units in its first week out. “I Dreamed A Dream” has now sold one-point-two-three-million copies, making it the tenth best-selling album of the year. Following Boyle on this week’s Billboard 200 is renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. His “My Christmas” album finishes second for a fourth week after selling 428-thousand records. In its five weeks on shelves, “My Christmas” has sold more than one-million copies, making it Bocelli’s best selling record since 2006’s “Amore.”
Pop-country starlet Taylor Swift’s hit album “Fearless” finishes third this week with 127-thousand albums. R&B star R. Kelly enjoys the biggest debut of the week, as his new album “Untitled” checks in at number four with 114-thousand copies. Pop diva Lady GaGa rounds out the top five with her release “The Fame.” The record moved 84-thousand units.
