(Denver, CO) — More than just medical marijuana is on the menu at a Denver dispensary that claims to be the first of its kind. Ganja Gourmet opened Wednesday, offering lasagna, pizza, jambalaya, paella, chocolate mousse, flavored cheesecakes and other gourmet food — all laced with marijuana. The dispensary/restaurant, which helps those who seek medicinal marijuana to relieve physical problems, is decorated in a 1960s style with employees wearing tie-dye clothes. Courtesy rides home will be offered to customers who believe they can’t drive. The menu of marijuana-laced food is made off site because building inspectors will not allow a kitchen there due to a fire hazard.
