Legendary producers Pete Rock and DJ Premier sat down in an interview to discuss their longevity in Hip-Hop.

In an interview with in Japan, the two discussed how Hip-Hop in the ‘90s changed the game forever.

“We were able to run a whole decade,” DJ Premier added. “Not a lot of artists can say that they ran a decade, the fact that we ran an era and can go down in the history books is dope.”

The two veteran producers also offered up some sound advice to new comers in the game.
