A Florida man is behind bars after a bizarre exchange with his neighbor. The “Sun Sentinel” reports that Jared Davies was arrested over the weekend for allegedly posing as a cop and threatening to shoot his neighbor. The 23-year-old was reportedly driving by his home Sunday when a nearby resident waved. Apparently upset by the gesture, Davies allegedly responded, quote, “I’m a cop and you better shut up before I put a bullet in the back of your head.” Davies shouted a few more obscenities before eventually speeding away. He was subsequently arrested and charged with a list of crimes including unlawful use of a police badge and aggravated assault without intent to kill. He is being held in a Pompano Beach jail without bond.
