The Game was ordered to pay up after one woman claimed she was sexually assaulted while filming the rapper’s reality show in 2015. TMZ reports that last week, a court issued a judgment against him for a whopping $7.13 million.

The victim, Priscilla Rainey, has finally opened up about the court case and the massive amount of cash.

She tells theJasmineBRAND: “This case was never about money. This was always about standing up for not only my rights, but also the rights of women who have been similarly victimized. My life has been impacted tremendously by relentless negativity, solely because I chose not to remain silent. I am hopeful that this result can empower other women to also come forward and stand up for themselves.”

Her attorney also wants the public to know all the rumors played a hand in complicating their case:

“This case involved a controversial subject matter further complicated by the volume of rumors spread through social media. I believe that the most difficult cases should be decided by juries, and as a trial lawyer I take great pride in presenting those types of cases. Our judicial system provides the only opportunity for the people of the community to decisively resolve disputes and to be the people’s voice on the most important societal issues. Ten citizens of Illinois reviewed all of the evidence to unanimously arrive at the result they determined was fair and just. Priscilla Rainey just wanted her life back, and hopefully this is a step in that direction.”

Rainey claimed the rapper was drunk and groped her on more than one occasion while shooting She’s Got Game. Sources say the emcee/reality TV dad plans to appeal the ruling.
