For .2 seconds, I slipped and let someone’s comments switch my swag up… and not in a good way. This older lady told me that I need to be more serious in pictures if I’m gonna be growing my hair out. She thinks the new cut requires a new personality. Now there’s nothing wrong with change, but let me be the one to decide whether I wear a mean mug or a cheesy grin. Now the sad part is: I let her criticism plague my mind… and the next photo I posted on instagram showed none of my teeth. I swear to you, the pic hadn’t been posted for 5 minutes and my friends were already texting me cracking jokes at how awkward I looked.
