J.J. Watt has been silent since he went in on September 29 for his second back surgery after he only played his third game of the 2016 season.

Since that second surgery, the defensive end has been inactive on all of his social media accounts as he recovers in private.

His recovery has been under wraps, but that kind of changed on Tuesday when the Houston Texans’ defensive line coach Anthony Weaver said that he sent J.J. a picture of his son dressing up like J.J. Watt for Halloween.
Weaver also gave an update regarding Watt’s recovery saying, “I think right now he’s only allowed to walk. Knowing J.J. he’s going to try and be the best walker in the United States of America.”
This is the first time J.J. has missed a season and making record sacking numbers since his rookie year.
Weaver said with a smile that J.J. is probably walking 20 miles a day since walking is all he can do for now.
Of course he’s joking because he doesn’t know far J.J. can walk yet.
