During the first half of yesterday’s Oakland Raiders game, their wide receiver, Michael Crabtree was given an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for making a “throat slash gesture.”

This penally isn’t something new, but it’s something that the official take seriously and this penally will easily give you a 15-yard penalty.

This is what happened when Crabtree was celebrating a 2-yard touchdown pass, he did a the motion during his celebration and it was taken as the “throat slash gesture.”
And another piece of info about the penalty, the player cannot receive an “unsportsmanlike”
penalty two times during a game either. Why?
This is because that second penalty will get you ejected from the game and this is what you want to avoid.
Luckily, Crabtree did not get another “unsportsmanlike” penalty called on him and the Raiders did win over Jacksonville Jaguars too.
