Last night on WWE’s Raw Live, Paul Heyman took to the mic and called retired Bill Goldberg out for another fight against, “my beast.”
Heyman says, “I have been authorized tonight to come out here and let the entire WWE universe know Goldberg; you sir, are hereby challenged to a fight. One-on-one. Beast vs. The Myth. Icon vs. Icon. Anywhere, any place, any time. BROCK LESNAR VERSUS GOLDBERG!”
That’s when the “Goldberg” chants started around the arena.
Heyman continues with saying, “And you can live in the fantasy of WWE 2k17 where you will remain sir, the one blemish on Brock Lesnar’s WWE career. Or Goldberg you can step into this ring and be beaten, victimized, and conquered but Brock Lesnar.”
And here is what Goldberg tweeted back to Heyman:
Booking my flight to answer that big mouth @HeymanHustle ‘s challenge next week in person on #MondayNightRaw#WhosNext? #seeyathere @WWE

Their last fight was 2004, at Wrestlemania XX.
This 2004 match was both Goldberg and Lenar’s last match in WWE until Brock returned in 2012. Lesnar left WWE for the NFL where he as on the Minnesota Vikings as their defensive tackle, but his career was cut short when the team released him before the start of the 2004-05 season.
Goldberg has been retired and been seen in a variety of television shows and movies over the years.
Bill Goldberg is supposed to appear on the Oct. 17the episode of Raw to respond to Heyman.
