Today is October 6th and it’s National Mad Hatter Day! (We spell it Madd Hatta here at the Box).
Apparently back In 1986, a group of computer technicians in Boulder, Colorado first celebrated Mad Hatter Day as a day of silliness inspired by the character in “Alice In Wonderland.” October 6th was chosen due to the label tucked in the Mad Hatter’s hat band that read “In this style 10/6”.
So wear a crazy hat, do something silly or just celebrate every day by listening to the Madd Hatta Morning weekdays from 5am to 10am on 97.9 the Box!
