Many Prairie View A&M University students and alumni are outraged over a Snapchat post of a white student in blackface and why she attended the historical black university.
The photo that posted on the student’s Snapchat has been deleted but not before it went viral.
The photo is a white female wearing a purple PVAMU shirt in blackface with the caption “When you just tryna fit in at your hbcu.”
The university confirmed that Brooke Merino is an enrolled student that plays on the school’s soccer team and she is expected to meet with the school’s Office Of Student Conduct.
