Talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres sends out a tweet that goes all wrong.
In the spirit of the 2016 Rio Olympics, she posted a tweet with the caption: “This is how I’m running errands from now on.” Unfortunately, the tweet shows her riding the back of Jamaican Gold Medal Olympian, Usain Bolt.
The tweet didn’t sit well with many and the daytime tv show host started receiving backlash on social media after the post.
DeGeneres posted the photo Monday with the caption: “This is how I’m running errands from now on.”

The talk show host said Tuesday on Twitter that she’s “highly aware of the racism that exists in our country” but that’s “the furthest thing from who I am.”
I am highly aware of the racism that exists in our country. It is the furthest thing from who I am.
