If you haven’t seen the season six premiere of Game of Thrones and won’t be able to catch it before Sunday’s new episode The Roots Black Thought provided a recap of what went down, in rhyme form of course.
Real name Tariq Trotter, Black Thought is an avowed fan of the series and on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show fulfilled Jimmy Fallon’s request to summarize the premiere in under a minute. The emcee’s rhyme did the episode justice starting with Jon Snow’s death at the end of season five, then filling us in on what went down with Theon Greyjoy and Sansa Stark’s escape, Daenerys Targaryen’s capture by the Dothraki, Aria Starks struggles with blindness, and more.
