MAN HOLD UP! — Ben Affleck and Warner Brothers are confirming that the Oscar-winner will direct and star in a standalone “Batman” movie. That word has been circulating since last summer but Tuesday’s announcement at CinemaCon in Las Vegas was the first official confirmation. Affleck made his debut as Batman last month in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Affleck has won two Academy Awards, one for Best Original Screenplay for “Good Will Hunting,” and one as producer of 2012’s Best Picture winner, “Argo.”
