It’s me – Jimbo aka Jimbeazy…and I’m reuniting with my old band The Surrealtors to play some tunes live for a great cause! Sadly, our former drummer, Mando Perez, passed away leaving behind a young daughter.
The benefit this Sunday (4-10) is for educational fund for his daughter Sophia. Silent auction, reminiscing, a “Mando mp3 mix” of his favorite tunes, and live performances by a handful of the gazillion bands/artists he played with over the years…including mine. No cover charge, but donations large and small gladly accepted at the event. It’s at Cottonwood Houston – and the good news is – they are kid and pet-friendly! Here’s the address – I hit the stage around 3pm…

Oh yeah, some of the silent auction items include an autographed guitar from Rockin’ Robin Guitars, concert tickets, gift certificates for restaurants, several autographed pairs of Pro Mark drumsticks, and signed sports swag courtesy of the Houston Rockets and Clutch “The Rockets Bear!”
