SNL took the words right out of my mouth. I’ve been so confused as to why news outlets have been in outrage about Beyoncé’s recent halftime show performance. Why are you mad that she’s using her platform to speak out about the social injustices that are taking place in our country. Our community, celebrities and public figures have been using their voices to bring attention to this issue and no one has complained. I guess Beyoncé is supposed to completely ignore the fact that… she’s black.
