If you have ever watched Steve Harvey hosting his show, ‘Family ‘Feud’ than you’ve seen the off the wall and funny answers that some of these families can give when they’re asked.
Well, this show didn’t fail at an off the wall response either because during this show, between the Patterson and the Camenzind families,their question was “What’s another way people say mother.“
It was a simple question, but of course there was a hiccup somewhere.
When one member from each family went to the podium to start the show off, the Camenzind family member said “Mama” and the Patterson family member said “Mommy” and the board showed her answer as “Mom/Mommy.”
It was when the Patterson’s family decided to play that took the show to another twist.
The question was asked again and the other Patterson family member, Yolanda and she said “Nanie” as her answer and that response received a big red X.
The second woman asked was Cecilia and she said, “How about Nana.” and it wasn’t too much of a shock that Cecilia’s response also received a big red X, the second X.
Than came Sheila, the one who just didn’t fully grasp the question and she also didn’t grasp that the words, Nana, Nene, Mommy or Mami were basically all the same word that she was just pronouncing differently.
Harvey was flabbergasted on her responses and he just looked stunned and he said, “What are you trying to say it in Spanish or something? It’s the same word, they’re going to spell it the same.”
He asked her again, “Ok Sheila, tell me another way people say Mother.”
She says, “what about Mami?”
Harvey just went with it than he really tried explaining to Sheila that she was repeating answers that were already given (and denied) or was already on the board.
He started joking about the different ways to say the word Mommy and after he was done joking, he asked Sheila one more time!
She was serious and poor Sheila said, “Ok Steve, ‘nana’!”
With a look of O-M-G on his face, Harvey walked over to the audience and said, “This sh** can’t be happening can it? I get paid to host a show, there’s too much sh** here!”
Watch the clip, Sheila kept trying between, Mom, Mommy and Nana too.
