A fugitive from Ohio, who has an active warrant for his arrest over an alleged “failure to appear” in court for an arraignment in a drunken-driving charge, didn’t like his mug shot.

When the Lima Police Department posted a picture of Donald A. “Chip” Pugh on social media, Mr. Pugh decided that they needed a photo that better represented him, so he sent a selfie.

“Here is a better photo that one is terrible,” Donald A. “Chip” Pugh apparently wrote last week in a private message to Lima police on Facebook, according to Lt. Andy Green.

In the photo, Mr. Pugh, is sitting fashionably in the seat of car wearing gold-rimmed sunglasses and a plaid suit jacket.

Police had posted Pugh’s booking photos on Jan. 6, asking for the public’s help to find him, and he apparently messaged and called them the same day, complaining about the photos, Green said.

At the time of his posting Pugh had not turned himself in.

I guess.
