If you watched the Texans on Hard Knocks, you know that the Defensive Back, Charles James was a big hit.
He was Mr. crazy cocks, wearing outrageous socks that he named, “Happy Socks” that showed his personality.
James’ has had an amazing two-year journey that took him from living in a motel and off of a tight budget just so he wouldn’t burden his mom, to being on the practice squad, to Hard Knocks…. being cut, to another team and now back again to the Texans.
That’s a good journey for sure and James said, “I have motivation from that,”, via the team’s official website.”The intensity you see me play with, the fire that you see me play with, I think about some of those reasons when I play.”
After Hard Knocks aired, it was over a bit of a shocker to see James was cut in September, but it wasn’t a shock to see another team scoop him up pretty fast.
Luckily for the Texans, when James was cut from the Ravens, he was brought back to the Texans. It only took him two days to returned to the Houston Texans too.
In the past two weeks, James has played, he even started since Kareen Jackson is injured. James has played 107 of a possible 139 snaps. The good news is that since his return back to the Texans, James ranks No. 21 as for week 7.
