'Black Friday' Marks Start Of Holiday Shopping Season

I woke up today and saw my social media and I instantly thought assumed The Purge had started…but then I remembered that it’s Black Friday. If you’re anything like me, you probably hate Black Friday and everything it stands for. Seriously though, Black Friday is the day where you stand in looooong lines and fight off a horde of penny pinchers a day after you sat down and gave thanks for everything you already have.

Personally I can’t stand lines and I’m pretty sure squirrels have more patience than I do. Thankfully there is a day for people like me, it’s called Cyber Monday and I’m here to help you find some of dopest deals out there so you can be prepped for the online version of Black Friday (except it’s a lot safer and you can do it from the comfort of your couch or toilet)

Wal-Mart was the first major retailer to unveil Cyber Monday deals, and while there aren’t many so far, the company promises it’ll make 2,000 online-only deals live on Sunday night at 5 p.m. PT, 8 p.m. ET.

Target usually has really dope deals from Blu-rays to Video Games to Smartwatches to even Nespresso makers but the biggest thing that stands out this year is that they are offering 15 percent off everything on the entire website when using the promo code “CYBER15”.

Best Buy is possibly the first place I think of when I think of Black Friday, I went to grab a bite to eat Tuesday and saw a guy camping with his fam there (I guess that’s one way to spend thanksgiving). People line up for days and maul each other for the great deals on the nicest Tv’s for their living room, well thanks to Best Buy’s additional sales on Cyber Monday, you won’t have to push and shove for that ultra hi-def 3D flat screen. The official sales aren’t listed yet, but usually their deals vary from Games, computer, to box DVD sets, to drones.

The king of Online Retail is having their cyber monday deals start on Saturday, November 28 and they’ll run through Saturday, December 5. The kicker is that Amazon isn’t saying exactly when each deal will appear during that period so you have to be vigilant in your deal hunting.

Not everybody is into electronics and some guys and gals just want a nice pair of shoes to wear, well you’re going to have to go across the pond for this deal. Dune London actually started their deal on Wednesday and it will go on to Monday, November 30th, Shoe fiends can cop a nice pair of shoes with a deal of 30% off.

The place where I spend most of money and the only place I truly want anything from (just in case my wife reads this ) Gamestop always has really great deals for all the games and consoles. Their deals are not just lasting a day they are going on the ENTIRE week so be sure to check it out on Monday and see what you can pick up for your kids or husband (wink wink).

Toys R Us is also doing a Cyber Week (November 29 – December 5) and includes deals for Lego play sets, to Huffy Bikes to Even a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Oven (which apparently is a real thing)

These are just some of the best places to find great deals for you holiday shopping, many more will be announced as the day gets closer!
