Will you watch?!  —  National Geographic plans to air the first-ever live brain surgery.  The network says “Brain Surgery Live” will feature deep brain stimulation surgery, performed live at the Case Medical Center in Cleveland.  NatGeo says the patient will be fully awake during the October 25th operation.  Deep brain stimulation is an elective surgery used to treat tremors in patients with Parkinson’s Disease.
