Private Camille Coffey has extended a 30 second vid to Houston Texan’s Defensive end, J.J. Watt to join her at the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade’s annual holiday ball.
Pvt Coffey was genuinely sweet in her vid saying, here is some of her message to J.J.,
“Hi J.J., this is Pvt Camille Coffey from Albuquerque, New Mexico and I am currently stationed at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. I’ve been in the Army just under a year now and I think you are a phenomenal athlete, very handsome and I really admire what you do outside the NFL as well. I think your charity work is very cool
So, this being said, my brigade’s annual holiday ball is coming up, it’s in Maryland it’s on December 11th.”

Pvt Coffey said in her interview with the Army Times that it was J.J.’s charity work that did it for her, she says, “That’s really what set him apart for me, as far as considering who I was going to ask. J.J. Watt is just an all-around great guy, much more than just an NFL player.”
Unfortunately, that December 11th ball falls just a couple of days before the Texans face off Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in a home game.
This isn’t going to prevent the Pvt from attending her ball, but having J.J. as her guest would, as she says, “my first ball experience one to remember… a Prince Charming-Cinderella story-type thing.”
Pvt Coffey said that she was inspired by the Marine who did a YouTube invite to the UFC  champ, Ronda Rousey for his Marine Corps Ball in December… Ronda said YES and “He’s gotta be a gentleman, though.”
Best of luck to Pvt Coffey on getting a reply back from J.J. Watt and fingers crossed that he would fly to Maryland and back to H-town for his home game too.
