The Pro Football Hall of Fame has officially released the full 2016 of the nominees of 93 players and 15 coaches. According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame website, the players who have been nominated consists of 51 offense, 33 defense, 9 special teams.
“The nominees will be trimmed to 25 semifinalists in November and, from there, to 25 finalists in January.
As far as quarterbacks go, Brett Favre made the list along with Drew Bledsoe and Kurt Warner…
The running backs consists of Tiki Barber, Clinton Portis, Herschel Walker, etc… Wide Receivers has Terrell Owens; Tight ends Mark Bavaro and Jay Novacek….
The more shocking of nominees is safety Darren Sharper… Sharper who pled guilty, was indicted and sentenced for sexual assault/rape charges in varies states such as California, Arizona, Nevada and Louisiana.
I shouldn’t be to much of a shock since O.J. Simpson is still a Hall of Famer since 1985.
