One of the nation’s largest retails stores made an announcement today to stop the sell of any assault rifles, semi-automatic shotguns and other firearms that are generally used in any mass shootings.
You would think that this decision came soon after the two murders of the Virginia news reporter and her cameraman friend, but no, the decision was just a business choice.

It was something that their spokesperson Kory Lundberg told Forbes business, “We previously carried modern sporting rifles in less than a third of our stores. Our merchandising decisions are driven largely by customer demand. In our everyday course of doing business, we are continually reviewing and adjusting our product assortment to meet our customers’ needs.”
When interviewed by Quartz, Lundberg said, “This happens to get more attention because of what the product is. The decision was completely based on what customers are buying and what they want.”
He also said, that the store has been phasing out the sales of AR-15s and other modern spring rifles “for a while and within the next week or tow, MRSs shouldn’t be in any more stores.”
Even though their decision to remove assault rifles or to limit or stop the purchase of these weapons by serial murderers, do you think this will also put a halt to the killings too?
