The Kraft Heinz Company has another recall that they have put out.
This time their latest recall is voluntary and it’s resulting in 36,000 cases of a selected code dates on their Kraft Singles that are individually wrapped cheese slices.
The reason being is that some consumers had reportedly chocked on the plastic wrappings that the cheese is packaged in.

There have been three consumers who choked on the plastic and ten other complaints regarding the plastic. The complaint is that even after removing the plastic wrap, the cheese still has wrap remaining on it.
The company’s statement said, “if the film sticks to the slice and is not removed, it could potentially cause a choking hazard.”
Their recall apples to their 3 and 4 pound sizes of Kraft Singles American and white American pasteurized prepared cheese with a use-by-date of December 29, 2015 to January 4, 2016.
These specific recalled products were distributed throughout U.S., Puerto Rico and Grand Cayman.
“We deeply regret this situation and apologize to any consumer we have disappointed,” Kraft said.
The original, first recall that Kraft had was back in March when the company recall 242,000 cases. The recall in March when their original flavored Macaroni & Cheese dinners possibly contained small metal pieces.
