An anonymous McDonald’s manager did a an “Ask Me Anything” on the social networking website Reddit. He admitted to McDonald’s fast-food having a secret menu.
The anonymous manager was asked by Redditor, “Can you confirm the validity of the ‘Secret Menu’?”
The manager’s answer was, “You can order from he ‘Secret Menu.’ Just like with any of our sandwiches, you can add, remove or change ingredients by special request. These are called ‘grill orders’.”
It’s just like at Starbucks, the staff might not know the secret menu items, but if you describe to them what you want than they will be able to provide it for you.
There is a website called HackTheMenu.com that gives a list of “unofficial and unadvertised selections of that fast-food chains will make when ordered but that do not exist on their regular menus” the site is suggesting items to order.
Here are a few items that are not found on the menu are; Land, Sea, Air burger (Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish and a McChicken); McGangBang (a McChicken Sandwich placed directly inside a McDouble burger, buns and all); the Pie McFlurry (an apple pie blended in a McFlurry ice cream dessert) and the Neapolitan Shake (strawberry, chocolate and vanilla all int he same cup).
McDonald’s says that you can request any extras and change your ordered sandwiches to your likings, but keep in mind that these additions could be done at an extra cost.
