One day, a nonprofit organization was formed for the children… this organization provides custom cakes and other things for families who have been impacted by critically killed children.
The organization is called Icing Smiles and they do their treats to impact a child’s life. As the founder Tracy Quisenberry states on her website, “The concept for Icing Smiles was born from a strong desire to use this new passion for service. God cleared the path and then insisted that I follow. It soon became evident that the calling I was searching for was to create these types of memories for children whose world is rocked by illness.”

The Icing Smiles had another child’s birthday to cater to and they did just that, but the internet’s backlash took the something special to another level.
It happened on some websites, but people put the baker on blast after she did the Frozen themed cake and it did not look like Elsa’s twin. Of course each baker has had an off day, but the people who criticized the cake didn’t read the backstories to any of it first.
The Elsa cake was for a little girl who wanted the cake and who was also excited about it and according to Icing Smiles Facebook page, the posts and constant slamming about her cake really upset her.
Where did they learn to do Elsa?
They got an online cake decorating tutorial from McGreevy Cakes’ website. The baker for McGreevy Cakes Facebook statement said, “I think someone had the guts to go for it… even when, I’m sure, they didn’t know if they could pull it off. They took the chance anyway and put themselves out there.”
Check it out… It might not be ideal, but when you read their backstory and you learn about the organization, it makes you think twice about bashing them.
Either way, it was for a sick child who was happy about it and what everyone else thinks shouldn’t have mattered.
