MEET THE EIGHT YEAR OLD NAMED ALANI SIMMONS WHO IS TAKING ON CANCER THROUGH PHILANTHROPY

Meet Alani Simmons! She’s an awesomely creative eight-year old with a heart as big as gold. Alani is a passionate young entrepreneur who makes and sells a delicious beverage for kids and adults. It’s called “Alani’s Amazingly Enchanted Lemon Elixir.” That’s a smart eight-year old’s way of saying, “some darn good lemonade.”
Alani’s amazingly delicious lemony potion won at Lemonade Day Houston. She won for “Best Lemonade Stand.” Not satisfied with her early entrepreneurial accomplishments, Alani has plans to release her first book and a video series soon.
This eight-year old is no stranger to being in the public eye. She is the daughter of award winning Houston, TX radio personality Jillian “JJ” Simmons.
Currently, Alani is an endless fount of energy and activity. She’s an enterprising third-grader at the mandarin Chinese Language Immersion School in Houston, Texas. Over the last four years she’s learned to speak mandarin Chinese, fluently. In her spare time Alani dances, does gymnastics and now is a philanthropist in her own right.
Alani donates her hard earned lemonade stand proceeds to 1LessStress, Inc which is a organization founded by Suzette and Alesiette Mayweather. The nonprofit foundation raises awareness about breast cancer for men and women of color.
The world may have to get ready for Alani Simmons, because surely she is more than ready to take on the world.
