In New Port Richey, Florida, a veteran’s casket was on his way to his funeral when the drivers of the hearse decided to make a pit stop from their destination.
Lt. Col. Jesse Coleman, an 84-year-old decorated solider who did one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam deserved the respect he fought for.

Unfortunately,  on his transport from the Veterans Funeral care to his funeral the Lt. Col. wasn’t shown that respect when the drivers decided to hit up Dunkin’ Donuts first.
A shocked bystander, Rob Carpenter, was passing by and he saw a flag draped casket inside a hearse that had no driver.
Carpenter said that he took a video and snapped some pictures while he waited for the drivers to come out.
Carpenter told News 8, confronted the hearse men after they walked out with a bag of donuts and a cup of coffee in hand. Carpenter said, “I’m like, ‘Is this really a body in here?’ and the driver responded with, “Yes.”
Carpenter continued baffled, asking, “So you have a dead soldier in the back of you hearse and you’re stopping to get coffee?”
The men didn’t appear to have any remorse, but the funeral home owner, Jim Rudolph, was sickened by the news at the treatment of a veteran soldier.
The report states that there are plans to buy the Lt. Col. in the Arlington National Cemetery.
