Saturday, while at Target, my daughter begged me to let her shop for my mother’s day gift by herself. I allowed her to do it as I kept a close eye on her from a distant. She went to the register, purchased the gifts and met me in the clothing section. I said “Wow! You got a lot of stuff there Alani!” She said she spent $60 from her money she made from her lemonade stand last week. I told her that she didn’t have to spend so much money and she responded “Moms are more important than toys” 😥 How Sweet! I woke up Mother’s Day to a bag full of goodies! She bought me a candle, chapstick, a gift card, a dvd movie, a water bottle that I had been wanting to get for over a month, a poem written in Chinese, a phone case, a mug, a poster she designed and coupon book! More than anything, I was just happy to see that she loved putting a smile on someone else’s face and is excited to do the same thing for her dad on Father’s Day. #SweetestKid #MothersDay #Surprises #Love #Giving
