April is National Sexual Abuse Awareness month. Alissa R. Jones has developed a campaign titled, “Survived & Revived”. This campaign consist of 3 live sessions that will include survivors giving their testimonies, encouraging words to individuals that have been molested/raped and/or abused, and a self defense demonstration by certified self defense instructors. Alissa is also conducting a FREE webinar on April 28th to demonstrate self defense tactics to assist in preventing attacks. On April 30th Alissa will host a live “Survived & Revived” Conference call for all survivors and supporters. During this time individuals can share their stories of overcoming sexual abuse.

In effort to share her story, Alissa R. Jones wrote and published “The Stones That Built Me Strong”. She also has a workbook in conjunction with her novel. The workbook gives key steps on how to remove the anger from being a victim, how to express your emotions after abuse, how to love again, how to not hate yourself, and various helpful tactics over overcoming sexual abuse.
