Pacquiao has been playing for the Kia Carnival, a professional basketball team in the Philippine.
Rumors have it that Pacquiao will continue playing hoops while training for his fight against Mayweather, but they immediately shutdown those rumors…. they said that Pacquiao will wait until after the fight to start playing again.
Not only does Pacquiao play, he is also the head coach for the Kia Carnival and that too has been put on hold while he’s in training for his May 2nd fight.
The team’s guard, Karl Dehesa said, “He’s definitely not going to play until after the Mayweather fight. He hasn’t been around since they announced the fight… he’s got a team of assistants that take over when he can’t be ingress or practices.”
