I remember when these two brothers hit the reality show scene with a boom! Chance was the rough around the edges, bad boy looking for some one to tame him – and Real was the complete opposite, a sweet heart and seemingly really good guy looking for love. Even though their personalities were completely opposite one thing was for sure, these brothers loved each other more than your random siblings….it was like they were best friends. So I’m actually sad to report the passing of Ahmad “Real” Givens who passed this weekend at the age of 33 after a long battle with stage 4 colon cancer. His condition had temporarily improved but a few days ago as his vision weakened his family gathered as they feared he was near the end. Our prayers to the entire family, but especially to Kamal “Chance” Givens who wrote on his instagram
“Bye to my favorite guy in this whole world — be in peace,” Chance wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of himself in tears. “We love you forever bro. I’ll see you one day soon — we shall dance again in God’s kingdom forever and ever, bro. Words can’t describe my pain — world, pray for me!”
