(Columbus, GA) — A homeless man in Georgia is accused of having sex with a dead woman’s body. The “Ledger-Enquirer” reports that police in Columbus arrested Domonique Smith a little more than a week ago and charged him with necrophilia. They say the 26-year-old first got in trouble for bike theft but they later tied him to the corpse abuse. They had evidence that linked him to a funeral home and say he performed the sex act on the body. The woman’s family has been told about what happened but police have not made public what exactly took place. Smith could get a decade behind bars if convicted.
