Word is that 60 Minutes reporter, Steve Kroft, has been cheating on his journalist wife, Jenny Conant. The 69-year-old Kroft has acknowledged that for the last 3 years he been knocking down a married Manhattan lawyer named Lisan Goines.
He’s since made a statement to the New York Post:
“I had an extramarital affair that was a serious lapse of personal judgment and extremely hurtful to my wife and family, and for that I have nothing but regret,” Kroft said in a statement to the Post. “My wife and I are committed to each other and are working hard to get past this, and consider it a private matter.”
The post detailed a physical copy of the affair and alleged texts.
The 60 Minutes correspondent boasted to his side-piece he was the “go-to” interview for President Obama and the boy is a bona fide freak to. One time, he was “pouring champagne in her “booty and drinking the bubbly.”
In another sexting session Kroft allegedly texted to his mistress, “Miss you and all that goes with it. Especially my favorite tastes and colors…pink and brown.” In another text, the 69-year old newsman, who is said to have been using viagra in the relationship asked 41-year-old Goines, “What exactly would be your preference?….”U all over and deep inside of me,” Goines requested.
At one point the TV journalist, lamented his long hours on the job, the report said. “Working late. Just ordered out. Would rather be eating your pudding,” he allegedly wrote.
