Mayor Anise Parker jumped 14,000 ft. out of a plane and is happy she only had to do it once.
On Sunday afternoon Parker posted pictures on Twitter all suited up and ready to jump at the Skydive Spaceland near Rosharon.
“Honestly, this wasn’t on my bucket list,” Parker said in a release “My staff had been planning this for awhile and my original intention was to simply be on hand to support them. As their team leader, though, I couldn’t just stand by and watch. If they can do it, I can do it. I’m not sure, however, it is something I’ll do again,” said Parker according to KHOU.
The event included Parker, members of her executive team, and City Council aides according to her office.
