(Undated)  —  Nearly two-thirds of U.S. employers are throwing holiday parties for their workers this year.  A new poll finds workers appreciate having a good time on the boss’s dime, but they’d rather have cash.  The survey of employees, hiring managers, and HR professionals reports 63-percent of employers plan to throw staff parties.  The poll finds that most workers plan to attend the parties but just about all of them, 96-percent, say they’d rather have a cash bonus.  About half of them are getting their wish.  Forty-six percent of employers will pay holiday bonuses.
