(Undated) — A suspected car thief is behind bars after falling asleep on the job. According to the “Ocala Star-Banner,” police in Ocala, Florida gave a rude awakening to Stephen Carroll Steen when they found him sleeping in a stolen car earlier this week. When police awoke him, he said he was waiting for his girlfriend to get off of work. However, he stumbled when he couldn’t tell the officer his girlfriend’s name. Police discovered the car had been reported stolen over the weekend. He was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle.
