Mary J. Blige did in interview with Stella Magazine and revealed that she and her husband Kendu Isaacs have an agreement not to have buddies/pals/chums/BFF’s of the opposite sex.
‘All females for me, all guys for him. There’s none of that, “Oh, that’s my female friend Oh, that’s my guy friend.” No, not in a marriage, I’ve never seen that work.’
If that works for their marriage I think its great. However, I would not put those types of handcuffs on my wife. I trust her. Implicitly. In my opinion your mate is a direct reflection of YOUR decision making. If you don’t trust them, what you are really saying is you don’t trust your own choices.
