The inventor of the game “Operation” needs money so he can have a real operation. Seventy-seven year old John Spinello needs 25-thousand dollars for oral surgery. So far, people have donated more than 19-thousand dollars to a Crowdwise fundraiser. Spinello was a college student when he invented “Operation” nearly 50 years ago. He sold the patent for 500 dollars.
