(Houston, TX) — Houston Mayor Annise Parker’s office is being buried in Bibles. The books began pouring in after media personality and former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee urged viewers to contact the mayor. The mayor’s office confirms they have received from 500 to one thousand Bibles so far. The Bible mail-in was in response to subpoenas issued to Houston pastors in a lawsuit by the mayor.
